The role involves conducting research on cutting-edge technologies and developing models that drive product impact and platform growth. Responsibilities Conducting development and research on cutting-edge CV, NLP, multi-modality, LLM, generative modeling Following SoTA progress in relevant fields and transform the ideas into production Life-cycle model development, from model training, deployment, maintenance, till its use in business scenarios Skills Currently pursuing PhD Degree Experience in one of more areas of computer vision, natural language processing and machine learning Solid knowledge and experience with at least one major deep learning framework (e.g. PyTorch, Tensorflow, MXNet) Strong analytical and problem solving skills Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams Degree in computer science, electrical engineering or related fields Graduating December 2025 onwards with the intent to return to degree program after the completion of the internship Authors with publications in top-tier venues such as SIGGRAPH, SIGGRAPH Asia, CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, ICML, NeurIPS, ICLR Benefits Day one access to health insurance Life insurance Wellbeing benefits 10 paid holidays per year Paid sick time (56 hours if hired in first half of year, 40 if hired in second half of year) Housing allowance Company Overview TikTok is a short-form video entertainment app and social network platform.
