[Remote] Remote Mainframe Sr Infra Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Wells Fargo is seeking a skilled, motivated team player to support mainframe connectivity products. The role involves troubleshooting connectivity issues, monitoring the mainframe network, and ensuring the availability of services for Wells Fargo and its customers.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Lead or participate in high level technical concepts spanning technology and business
ā¢ Develop specifications for complex infrastructure systems, design and test solutions
ā¢ Contribute to the testing of business, application and technical infrastructure requirements
ā¢ Drive solutions to reduce recovery
ā¢ Design complex system upgrades
ā¢ Resolve troublesome trends as they develop
ā¢ Develop a long range plan designed to resolve problems and prevent them from recurring
ā¢ Direct the daily risk and control flow of operations, focusing on policies, procedures, and work standards to ensure success
ā¢ Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Skills
ā¢ Experience with SMF reporting
ā¢ Experience with OMVS, USS, ishell, ZFS
ā¢ Experience with zERT
ā¢ Experience with FTP(S), sFTP
ā¢ Experience with TPX Session Manager
ā¢ Experience with Netview
ā¢ Experience with third party console software
ā¢ Experience with Telent and 3270 emulation software
ā¢ Experience with SMC-D and SMC-R
ā¢ Experience with APPN and EE
ā¢ Experience with socks5 proxy servers
ā¢ Microsoft Office Suite Tools, such as Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point
ā¢ 1+ year of Agile experience
ā¢ REXX programming experience
ā¢ 2+ years of experience with RACF
