Responsibilities
ā¢ Review, approve, or remove posts and comments according to moderation guidelines
ā¢ Apply moderation actions using established macros and documentation
ā¢ Moderate content primarily on forums, with limited Reddit coverage
ā¢ Handle modmail by directing users to official support channels when needed
ā¢ Escalate issues appropriately following internal procedures
ā¢ Maintain a calm, empathetic, and technically accurate tone at all times
Skills
ā¢ Genuine interest in computer hardware and consumer technology
ā¢ Practical, hands-on Linux experience with at least two different Linux distributions
ā¢ Comfort moderating content in forums and Reddit communities
ā¢ Ability to follow documentation closely and work independently
ā¢ Reliable availability during after-hours and weekend shifts
ā¢ Experience moderating technical or enthusiast communities
ā¢ Familiarity with logistics, OS-related, or hardware troubleshooting discussions
ā¢ Prior experience using moderation tools, macros, or rule-based workflows
