Now Hiring: Real Estate Acquisitions Intern / Summer Analyst (Remote / NY-Based Preferred) Topside Management is looking for a driven Real Estate Acquisitions Intern / Summer Analyst to join our team this summer. About Us Topside Management is a New York/Long Island-based real estate investment firm focused on sourcing and executing opportunistic acquisitions. We operate as a lean, entrepreneurial team with a strong emphasis on hands-on learning and real deal exposure. Learn more: Role Overview This is a remote internship (NYC and Long Island-based candidates preferred). You’ll work directly with our acquisitions team to help source deals, build our property pipeline, and support underwriting efforts. This is primarily a commission-based opportunity — interns will earn an acquisition fee for any deal they help source that successfully closes. Key Responsibilities • Source off-market real estate opportunities through cold calling, outreach, and research • Build and maintain a database of target properties and owners • Assist in deal sourcing strategies and pipeline tracking • Support underwriting efforts and learn financial analysis techniques • Help prepare investment memos and deal summaries • Conduct market and comparable property research • Attend site visits (if location is reasonably accessible) Qualifications • In the process of completing a four-year college degree • Strong academic performance and demonstrated analytical ability. Prior coursework in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, and/or Management preferred • Comfortable with outreach / cold calling • Self-starter with a track record of initiative and follow-through • Organized with strong attention to detail: able to think critically about deals and spot inconsistencies or gaps in information • Proficiency in Excel & Powerpoint (real estate financial modeling experience preferred, but not required) Bonus • Experience using AI tools such as Claude Code & Claude Cowork • Experience building systems, automations, or workflows What You’ll Gain • Direct mentorship from our Acquisitions Director • Hands-on training in underwriting, deal analysis, and investment memos • Real exposure to sourcing and closing deals • A strong foundation for a career in real estate acquisitions or private equity Compensation • Commission-based: Earn an acquisition fee for deals you help source that close • Unpaid internship otherwise, with significant learning and deal exposure How to Apply Send your resume and a short note on your interest in real estate to [email protected] Optionally, include a brief example of: • A project, model, or system you’ve built, or • A market, deal, or investment you find interesting
