[Remote] RCM - Accounts Receivable - Must reside in the United States

They are seeking an RCM - Accounts Receivable (AR) Associate to manage and resolve unpaid accounts, ensuring timely and accurate reimbursement for aged accounts to support their mission of empowering lives.ResponsibilitiesManage and resolve unpaid accounts with precision and professionalismDrive results by meeting productivity standards while reducing outstanding AR balancesVerify payments for accuracy and completeness, and correct account discrepancies (e.g., payer verification, resolving overlaps, reviewing EOBs, processing adjustments or transfers)Document all actions and account reviews thoroughly and accuratelyIdentify and report errors, compliance issues and trends to your leaderStay informed on state billing rules, guidelines, and statue of limitationsProvide exception support to internal and external customersHandle escalated accounts promptly and report findings as requiredOther projects and duties as assignedSkillsHigh School diploma or equivalent experienceAt least one year of experience in Revenue Cycle, Medicare and Commercial Insurance in a high-production environmentExceptional communication skills, including oral and writtenStrong organizational and time management skillsStrong attention to detail, and capacity to multitask effectivelyProven ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely mannerProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software applicationsThree plus years of experience in Revenue Cycle, Medicare and Commercial Insurance in a high-production environmentExperience identifying processes and recommending solutionsBenefitsAnnual paid Charity Day to give back to a cause meaningful to you100% employer paid medical health insurance premium option availableDental and Vision insurance401(k) with company matchGenerous PTO and paid holidaysSupportive team and leadership invested in your successCompany OverviewUpstream Rehabilitation is an outpatient physical therapy provider.
