[Remote] Quality Management - Test Architect
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Kforce Inc is seeking a Quality Management - Test Architect who will define and maintain enterprise-level test strategies and quality standards. The role involves overseeing test executions, ensuring quality across teams, and participating in Agile/Scrum processes while collaborating on automation strategies.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Define, own, and maintain enterprise-level test strategies, test plans, and quality standards across all phases of delivery
ā¢ Design and review test cases and execution approaches covering functional, regression, smoke, integration, and end-to-end testing
ā¢ Provide formal testing sign-off and quality assessments for releases and major milestones
ā¢ Continuously evaluate and improve test coverage, effectiveness, and quality metrics
ā¢ Oversee and track multiple concurrent test executions, ensuring accurate reporting of progress, defects, risks, and outcomes
ā¢ Synthesize testing results into clear, actionable insights for project and leadership teams
ā¢ Ensure consistency and quality across onshore and offshore QA teams, addressing execution gaps and process inefficiencies
ā¢ Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, contributing quality perspectives to sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives
ā¢ Collaborate with engineering and automation teams on automation strategy, estimation, and execution planning
ā¢ Guide teams on balancing manual and automated testing approaches to optimize speed and reliability
Skills
ā¢ Must have 7+ years of experience in Data engineering testing
ā¢ Strong knowledge of QA methodology and tools, with demonstrated QA experience in a QA manager or QA lead role
ā¢ Significant experience in Data engineering or data product related testing
ā¢ Proficient in Python, Java, Selenium, Azure DevOps, and GitHub
ā¢ Must have leading and managing experience in all QA activities: data engineering, manual testing, test automation, performance testing
ā¢ Strong experience in managing test projects and resources
ā¢ Team lead experience with offshore - onshore model
ā¢ Experience extending and building offshore - onshore model
ā¢ Ability to work in a dynamic environment and come up with solutions to meet project needs
ā¢ Practical coding experience with automated web testing tools, services, and physical devices or any programming languages
ā¢ Experience in Automation architecture development and/or maintenance
ā¢ Excellent communication skills and experience working closely with development and business teams to understand business requirements and work on testing strategies, communicate impacts, own release sign offs; Previous client facing experience is an advantage
ā¢ Strong knowledge on how to run defect triaging, communicate updates, and impacts
