[Remote] Quality Control Technician

They are hiring a Quality Control Technician to maintain the quality management system and perform analysis on concrete and aggregate materials. Responsibilities Perform sampling and testing of aggregates to ensure compliance with plant and regulatory specifications Record, analyze, and interpret test data, maintaining accurate daily logs and supporting quality investigations Operate, calibrate, and maintain testing equipment, including preventive and general maintenance tasks Collaborate with field technicians, lab personnel, plant operators, and supervisors to communicate quality objectives and results Identify and report quality issues, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across operations Support additional quality-related activities as assigned, ensuring alignment with business goals and standards Skills Diploma or degree in Civil, Geological, Materials Engineering, or related field; or OACETT registration Knowledge of aggregate testing and OH&S regulations Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Valid G-class driver's license Able to work outdoors in varying conditions Company Overview Dufferin Aggregates is a supplier of aggregates for the construction industry.
