[Remote] QA Engineer - Costa Rica

They are seeking a QA Engineer to analyze and run tests on software, ensuring it meets user requirements and quality standards while collaborating with developers and stakeholders. Responsibilities • Conduct thorough testing of software for bugs, defects, and other issues using both manual and automated methods • Develop and implement detailed test plans and procedures to ensure comprehensive test coverage • Identify, document, and report defects and monitor their resolution to ensure they are addressed properly • Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and address issues collaboratively • Provide feedback on software usability and functionality • Write and maintain automated tests using tools like Playwright or others • Create and maintain thorough test documentation, design specifications, and test reports to support ongoing development and testing efforts Skills • 2-5 years in QA or software development • Proficiency in software testing methodologies, tools, and processes • Experience with test automation tools and frameworks • Familiarity with bug tracking and version control systems • Extraordinary attention to detail • Successfully pass background check for cybersecurity access requirements • Must reside in Costa Rica • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or related field • Experience with Playwright test automation software • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Strong verbal and written communication skills Company Overview • Cutsforth is a small company providing innovative designs for brush holder and shaft grounding replacements and collector ring services.
