Remote Project Manager/Business Analyst (Higher Education) - Part-time Opportunity
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager/Business Analyst to join our team on a part-time basis (15-20 hours/week), working 100% remotely. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in leading the implementation of a project to integrate a new population of employees (students) into our existing Workday Recruiting application.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with functional and technical teams to assess and document business requirements for the project
Develop and execute a comprehensive project plan, ensuring consistency with university PMO strategy, commitments, and goals
Serve as a liaison between the university's functional and technical areas to assess and develop requirements for the Recruiting Module
Coordinate and monitor all project activities, ensuring deliverables meet quality and performance objectives
Maintain responsibility for performance, cost, scope, schedule, and quality, with a high level of communication with internal teams and stakeholders
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree and relevant business process analysis and project management training and experience required
8-10 years of overall PM/BA experience, with 3+ years of experience project managing Workday platform
Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) certification a plus
Experience in a higher education environment required
Essential Skills:
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to understand technical and business needs and support requirements
Excellent communication and judgment skills, with the ability to operate independently and set priorities
Attention to detail, with a proven ability to achieve results and work effectively in a diverse campus community
