Remote Project Manager (FAA & Federal Contracts Experience Preferred | Travel Required)
We are seeking a skilled Construction Project Manager to plan, coordinate, and oversee construction projects from start to finish. This hybrid position requires remote work with periodic travel to job sites, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
FAA Project management experience is highly preferred, and the ideal candidate will have a proven track record in design-build construction, contractor coordination and client communication.
Key Responsibilities
As a Construction Project Manager, you will collaborate with engineers, architects, and stakeholders to define project scope and specifications. You will develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resources, as well as negotiate contracts with subcontractors and vendors. Ensuring that all necessary permits and licenses are secured, you will oversee daily construction activities to maintain high quality and safety standards. You will also manage the procurement of materials and equipment, monitor inventory, and lead contractors and laborers on-site. Regularly tracking project progress, preparing detailed reports, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards will be essential. Additionally, you will help identify and develop new business opportunities.
Qualifications & Skills
The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a Construction Project Manager, with FAA-related project experience strongly preferred. You should have experience managing design-build projects and possess a solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction/project management software is required, along with excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. Strong organizational and time-management abilities are essential. A bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field is preferred, but relevant work experience may substitute for the degree.

This role combines office-based work with fieldwork, requiring periodic travel to job sites. You will interact with various internal teams and external stakeholders while managing multiple projects and teams.
