Remote Product Support Technician - $27/Hr - Home Depot

In this role, you will be responsible for handling Level 1 support calls, guiding customers through issue resolution, managing open tickets, and sharing insights and knowledge with your colleagues. You will be the go-to expert for our customers, providing timely and effective solutions to their problems.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional customer support via phone, tickets, and remote help, escalating issues as needed
Screen system updates to stay informed of common issues customers are experiencing
Effectively listen to and empathize with end-users to gather issue details
Perform software installations for customers and report, review, and ensure quality and change control standards are met
Apply diagnostic utilities to support troubleshooting and access software updates, drivers, and databases to support issue resolution
Test fixes prior to closing tickets to ensure issues have been adequately resolved
Collaborate with site administration where applicable and construct relationships with internal stakeholders
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree
Experience with CRM or standard ticketing systems and remote monitoring and management software
Experience with Microsoft Office standard applications
Experience with troubleshooting and diagnosing basic-level networking issues and problems with current operating systems
Experience with virtualized and cloud-based environments
Comprehension of Information management (backup) software and Windows Server
