Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Somewhere is seeking a Senior Product Manager to oversee multiple e-commerce SaaS products. This role involves managing the product roadmap, collaborating with engineering teams, and ensuring effective communication across globally distributed teams.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Own roadmap and execution for multiple SaaS products
ā¢ Manage backlog, prioritization, and delivery with engineering teams
ā¢ Translate business goals into clear technical requirements
ā¢ Communicate effectively with globally distributed teams
ā¢ Collaborate closely with the Head of Product & Engineering
ā¢ Engage directly with end customers for feedback and validation
ā¢ Balance speed, stability, and scale in a mass-market SaaS environment
Skills
ā¢ Product ownership experience on e-commerce SaaS marketplaces, such as: Shopify App Marketplace, Wix App Marketplace, WooCommerce, Magento
ā¢ Experience managing multiple products simultaneously
ā¢ Strong understanding of marketplace constraints and tooling
ā¢ Experience working with distributed engineering teams
ā¢ Fluent, professional English (spoken & written)
ā¢ Technical fluency (must speak the language, not code): Frontend / Backend Concepts - JavaScript, React, Node
ā¢ Databases & Analytics - Postgres, Metabase, Basic SQL (nice to have)
ā¢ Modern Tooling - AI tools (Cursor, Cloud Code, etc.), Product analytics and experimentation concepts
ā¢ Confident leading engineers without formal authority
ā¢ Comfortable giving and receiving direct feedback
ā¢ Proactive, opinionated, and decisive
ā¢ Mature communicator in a multicultural environment
ā¢ Not overly hierarchical or overly polite
ā¢ Comfortable challenging ideas when necessary
