[Remote] Procurement Manager/Director, Equipment

The role involves sourcing critical equipment, negotiating contracts, and managing supply chains to ensure timely and cost-efficient project delivery.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Source equipment and services for power generation projects (e.g., solar panels, breakers, transformers)
ā¢ Negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors for project components
ā¢ Manage relationships with vendors, contractors, and key suppliers
ā¢ Oversee procurement to ensure timely delivery and cost efficiency
ā¢ Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements
ā¢ Manage supply chain risks to minimize disruptions
ā¢ Collaborate with project teams to align procurement with project timelines and budgets
ā¢ Maintain quality control for all procured goods and services
Skills
ā¢ Heavy industry equipment procurement experience
ā¢ Expertise in negotiating contracts
ā¢ Experience managing supply chains
ā¢ Ability to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements
ā¢ Experience managing supply chain risks
ā¢ Ability to collaborate with project teams to align procurement with project timelines and budgets
