Key Responsibilities:

Provide professional phone assistance to members, providers, and other stakeholders through our criteria-based prior authorization process
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all approvals and denials
Transfer clinical questions and judgment calls to the pharmacist as needed

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer service position with high-volume call center experience, preferably in healthcare or a similar field
Verifiable High School diploma or GED required
Pharmacy Technician certification preferred but not required at a State or National level
Ability to work from home with a dedicated quiet space, wired internet meeting 25mbps min download and 3mbps minimum upload speed
Ability to sit and focus on work for the duration of the shift with no interruptions
