Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Principal Support Engineer to join our Production Support team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our cloud-based brokerage platform. Key Responsibilities:
Provide end-to-end support for our cloud-based brokerage platform
Collaborate with a geographically diverse team to deliver outstanding solutions
Build and leverage client and vendor relationships to drive business growth
Provide thought leadership and innovative solutions to complex technical problems
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in production support and on-call handling for 24/7 applications and infrastructure
Extensive experience working in AWS cloud environment
Programming language skills in Java, Python, or Node (desired)
Experience with infrastructure components such as EKS, Kafka, MQ, and database technologies like MongoDB and MariaDB
Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools like CloudWatch and Datadog
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desired Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science
MSCE or A+ certification (MSCE preferred)
AWS certifications (AWS SysOps, DevOps)
Domain knowledge and experience with brokerage back-office systems
Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins Core and Terraform
