Remote PPC Specialist β Contract Position (Food & Beverage Focus)
About Us:
RIO Coffee Syrups is an emerging specialty beverage brand focused on bringing high-quality barista syrups directly to US consumers via e-commerce. We are scaling rapidly and are looking for a highly skilled PPC Specialist with experience managing paid campaigns for food & beverage brands.
This is a fully remote contract role for a proven PPC media buyer who understands the nuances of driving sales in the food & beverage category.
The Role:
You will own paid media execution across multiple platforms (Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, Amazon Sponsored Ads). Your mission: efficiently scale qualified traffic and drive profitable growth through full-funnel paid media strategy and execution.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Build, manage, and optimize PPC campaigns across Google, Meta, Amazon Ads (DSP a plus), and TikTok
β’ Conduct audience research, keyword analysis, creative testing, and bid strategy optimization
β’ Analyze campaign performance, identify trends, and recommend data-driven optimizations
β’ Coordinate closely with internal team on creative, landing pages, and CRO testing
β’ Forecast ad spend, ROAS, and CAC metrics aligned to growth goals
β’ Provide weekly reporting with actionable insights
Required Qualifications:
β’ 3+ years of hands-on PPC experience (Google, Meta, Amazon Ads)
β’ Direct experience running PPC campaigns for food & beverage, CPG, or DTC e-commerce brands
β’ Strong understanding of full-funnel media buying for consumer products
β’ Experience with creative testing frameworks and data-driven optimization
β’ Ability to analyze data and clearly communicate actionable recommendations
β’ Familiarity with Shopify, Klaviyo, and landing page CRO best practices (a plus)
β’ Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently
What Weβre NOT Looking For:
β’ Agency account managers with limited hands-on media buying experience
β’ Generic PPC freelancers without food & beverage or DTC experience
β’ Corporate brand marketers without direct performance media buying experience
Compensation:
Hourly or monthly retainer β commensurate with experience and performance.
