This position requires a strong and diverse skillset in relevant areas to drive success. This role offers a salary package of a competitive salary, commensurate with experience. Â Â Dexerto is looking for a weekend games writer to work from home in the US. This is a part-time, entry level position that will require you to work on a Saturday and Sunday.
The role would suit a talented and passionate student or graduate who is looking to get some experience of writing. Just send us your CV, any examples of your written work and tell us what games you are into.
You should be a versatile writer who is able to source and write compelling stories about big gaming franchises and trending titles, including the likes of Call of Duty, Overwatch, Fortnite, Pokemon and more. Knowledge of gaming streamers would be desirable.
Requirements
 Understanding and knowledge of gaming
 A snappy and compelling writing style
 Have a keen attention to detail  can spot grammatical errors and fact check
 Able to act independently on writing tasks
 SEO knowledge
 Own computing equipment that can run Photoshop and be able to use it competently
 Experience with content management systems is desirable
 Able to work eight hours a day
