[Remote-Position] Transcriptionist - Per Diem - Day - Vineland

MAJOR FUNCTION : Under the direction of the Department Director, is responsible for all department transcription, copying and mailing of dictation, filing of patient's records, other departmental typing projects, assist in answering phones and filling in for secretary when secretary is not available.
QUALIFICATION:
A. Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
B. Experience:
Computer skills.
Background in medical terminology, knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
Medical transcription experience required
Radiology transcription experience preferred
Ability to work flexible schedules with frequent interruptions.
Demonstrates loyalty, reliability, tactfulness, honesty and discretion, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
Exhibits professional appearance at all times.
C. Certification/Licensure: None required
D. Physical Requirements:
Sits for long periods and walks short distances for most of the work shift.
Must be able to read, write, and understand English.
Must possess excellent motor skills and dexterity to perform functions of the job.
Must have sufficient eye sight so that it would not impair job performance, including color discrimination.
Works in a radiation hazardous area.
