Department: PreAcademic Program Department's Website: https://special-programs.uark.edu/about/index.php Summary of Job Duties: Academic tutor will provide instructional support to sponsored undergraduate students in specific academic content areas. Plan and maintain weekly tutor sessions and will assist students in developing successful study skills with availability to tutor of least two hours per week. Maintain effective communication with students and SSSP staff. Submit record of sessions with SSSP staff. Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others. Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: Currently enrolled undergraduate student in a degree program at UofA-Fayetteville Have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA Completed a minimum of 24 credit hours Obtained an A in the course that subject will be tutored in Available at least two hours each week to tutor Spanish language preferred but not required Additional Information: Please note: this posting will be used to collect applications to fill current openings as well as anticipated openings.
