QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS Required Qualifications High School diploma or high school equivalency certificate. NM Substitute Teaching License. Must be 21 years of age for grades 9-12. Completion of substitution training workshop(s) and online trainings. Preferred Experience Minimum of three years of successful experience as classroom teacher in a secondary level school. Required Skills A passion for learning and teaching; international-minded. Ability to deliver lesson plan which stimulates and motivates students to learn. Positive Attitude. SUPERVISOR Primary: Dean of Instruction RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Follow instructional lesson plan left by the teacher. Maintain classroom management for a safe environment. Follow the Code of Ethics. Be a good role model for the students. Work as a member of the school team. Communicate appropriately and effectively with staff, parents and students. Keep all information confidential. Be prompt and courteous. Dress and act professionally. Accept responsibility as deemed necessary by the Dean of Instruction.
