They are seeking a highly skilled IT Engineer to join their growing team.
Job Summary: Generation IX is looking for a motivated IT Engineer with expertise in cloud computing, networking, and security to join their team. The successful candidate will work remotely, managing complex projects from initiation to completion.
Responsibilities:
 Implement, monitor, and maintain Microsoft Azure solutions
 Provide support for Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Sharepoint/OneDrive, and Teams
 Troubleshoot Office 365 Advance Threat Protection issues
 Manage SSO and MFA solutions (Azure MFA, Duo)
 Knowledge of email retention and litigation hold processes
 Backup, Restore, Recovery, and high availability strategies for Microsoft Azure environments
 Strong knowledge of IaaS and PaaS services
 Windows Server and SQL database creation, configuration, upgrade, migration, and patching
 Troubleshoot Azure environment performance issues, connectivity issues, security issues, etc.
 Identify and troubleshoot Azure server and SQL database-related CPU, memory, I/O, disk space, and other resources
 Work with a complex Active Directory, Azure AD, LDAP, and strictly follow standards, procedures, and processes
 Advanced knowledge of DNS, DHCP, Kerberos, and Windows Authentication
 Knowledge of network protocols such as DNS, SMTP, SNMP, SSH, SFTP
 Knowledge of Network and TCP/IP routing/subnetting
 Knowledge of Windows operating systems
 Manage enterprise endpoints using Microsoft Intune
 Experience with Azure AD, Active Directory including managing/maintaining GPOs
Skills and Abilities:
 Associates degree and industry certifications preferred
 3 years of Microsoft Azure AD, Windows/Office 365, and Microsoft Intune experience
 2 years of Sharepoint Online
 Knowledge of tools like Connectwise Automate or Autotask, monitoring software, endpoint management, etc. is a plus
 Strong PowerShell skills
 Ability to work independently and in a team environment
 Strong communication skills
 Willingness to learn and be mentored by other engineers
Requirements:
 Reliable internet connection
 Availability to work some afterhours and weekends
 Occasional travel may be required
