The Pathology Transcriptionist I role at AdventHealth Orlando involves performing transcription activities to support pathologists and the pathology department. Responsibilities
• Perform accurate transcription of recorded medical dictation into designated report format.

• Assist with inventory control and general equipment maintenance.

• Handle receptionist and clerical tasks including typing, filing, and distribution of interoffice memos.

• Support communication among pathologists, assistants, and hospital staff.

• Resolve customer service issues within established guidelines.

• Attend and participate in scheduled department and committee meetings.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements
• Completion of medical transcription program with certificate eligibility or one year of experience in medical dictation transcription.
