about this team
FPA is responsible for planning and managing lululemons overall financial performance. Based out of our Columbus Distribution Center, the Financial Analyst will be reporting directly to the Manager, FPA and partnering closely with key stakeholders in DC Operations and various corporate functions. You will be responsible for financial planning and analysis for one of lululemonÂs largest distribution centers providing insightful analysis from financial and operational metrics and be skillfully adept at connecting operations with financial results.
a day in the life
Partner with Supply Chain leadership in the Annual Operating Plan and monthly forecasting of operating expenditures for the Columbus Distribution Center
Track expenses and identify and investigate monthly and quarterly variances to budget and forecast while proactively identifying opportunities for improvement
Analyze trends in operational metrics connect to financial implications
Ad hoc decision support and scenario analysis as required
qualifications
BachelorÂs degree in Commerce or Business Administration
CPA or CA designation, MBA a plus
4 years of progressive accounting, financial analysis and reporting experience with fast paced business environments. Prior Finance experience supporting distribution centers and warehousing considered a strong asset.
Expert knowledge of Excel is required and working knowledge of Oracle Hyperion, COUPA and PowerBI an asset
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Extremely organized, thorough and takes pride in quality
Proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a time sensitive manner
Ability to work with a large amount detail without losing sight of the big picture
Excellent team player as well as the ability to work with limited direction must haves
