This will be a hybrid role based out of our corporate headquarters in Lakeville, MA with Mondays & Fridays remote. A Day in the Life of an Associate Manager-Cold Chain Logistics: Responsible for the achievement of corporate strategies and business goals related to Operations Planning in the area of Cold Chain Logistics. Manage Harvest Freight budget of $10M. Manage and co negotiate Harvest Freight Contracts with upward approval Manage harvest freight execution of up to 15 Harvest Carriers across 7 growing regions. Review frozen carrier lane rates with transportation manager for interarea fruit transfers and align on cost effective carrier plan that includes both harvest freight and frozen fruit transfers costs. Provide input on Cranberry Storage & Transportation Budget as it relates to Interarea fruit transfers Concentrate Freight Harvest Freight In coordination with Ag Area Operations manager develop and implement harvest logistics plan to include: Carriers Freezers Harvest Calendar Estimated harvest daily volumes and distribution by carriers and freezers. Conduct all-inclusive annual preharvest meetings.
