ShieldCo Insurance, a family-owned independent insurance agency based in Missouri, is seeking a friendly and professional Remote Phone Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our clients. You'll be the voice that makes people feel cared for and confident — while working from the comfort of your home.
We’re looking for someone dependable, personable, and tech-comfortable who can represent our values of truth, transparency, and honesty.
Responsibilities:
• Answer incoming calls during scheduled hours via RingCentral VoIP
• Greet clients warmly and route calls or log messages appropriately
• Notify our internal team of urgent issues via Slack
• Provide top-notch customer service with a calm, Midwestern-friendly tone
Requirements:
• Must be U.S.-based (Midwest preferred)
• Comfortable with phones, web-based tools, and remote work
• Professional and friendly phone voice
• Ability to learn quickly and follow scripts
• Experience in insurance, customer service, or office admin is a plus
• Must be available to work Monday–Friday, 8:30am–12:30pm CST
Compensation:
• $16-$17/hour
• Paid bi-weekly via direct deposit
• Part-time: 20-30 hours/week
