Remote Pharmacy Tech Liaison - Specialty (Full-Time Days)

Job Summary:
In this full-time, remote position, you will work closely with our pharmacists and clinic teams to provide top-notch pharmaceutical services, ensuring compliance with applicable State Board of Pharmacy regulations. Your expertise will be essential in preparing, packaging, and labeling non-sterile drug products, assisting pharmacists with advanced tasks, and developing strong relationships with patients, clinicians, and internal staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, package, compound, and label non-sterile drug products for specific patients with appropriate final pharmacist checks
Assist pharmacists in advanced tasks associated with patient care
Work seamlessly alongside hospital clinicians to serve patients both face-to-face and over the phone
Handle all medication needs of patients, including outbound therapy/medication adherence checkups and securing refill prescriptions
Communicate effectively with the centralized Patient Service Center and develop new processes to ensure smooth operations and patient care
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Three (3) years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience
CA BOP (California Board of Pharmacy) Tech License required
Strong interpersonal communication skills, ability to adapt to change, and knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel and Word
Knowledge of medical terminology, pharmacology, and pharmacological nomenclature; medical therapeutics, pharmacokinetics, and disease states
