Remote Pharmacy Data Entry Specialist - Arizona
Join our team at Aeetna as a Remote Pharmacy Data Entry Specialist! This is a fully remote opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with strong data entry skills and a passion for accuracy. You will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy of patient medication orders by precisely entering information into our systems.
Responsibilities:
Accurately review, interpret, and enter patient medication information into the PC system.
Calculate dosages, assign directions, and process insurance payments.
Communicate with pharmacies and insurance agencies to verify order accuracy.
Handle patient calls to clarify medication requests and reorders, verifying benefits.
Qualifications:
Valid Arizona Pharmacy Technician License required.
6+ months of experience working in a pharmacy setting.
6+ months of experience with Windows-based applications (Windows, Microsoft Office, web browsing, email).
6+ months of keyboarding experience and proficiency.
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods (8-10 hours).
Bonus Points:
Experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
Experience handling and resolving customer inquiries via phone.
Experience with healthcare, benefits, and insurance.
Experience with medical billing, coding, or clinical support roles.
Customer service experience in an office environment.
Experience with inbound and outbound telephone customer care.
