[Remote] PET/CT Research Collaboration Scientist

The PET/CT Research Collaboration Scientist will support scientific collaborations and drive research results, while also fostering relationships with key opinion leaders and contributing to product development initiatives. Responsibilities • Supporting scientific collaborations at luminary institutions and driving collaborative research results leading to impactful publications, external grant applications, and/or patent applications • Driving the publication of results at conferences and in world-class journals • Identifying, building, and foster strong collaborative relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) in the region • Supporting the future PET/CT product development pipeline – coordinating both with internal development teams and research partners for the development, comprehensive evaluation, and testing of prototypes and new products • Keeping customers and collaboration partners informed and up to date about United Imaging’s technologies • Execute research contracts with support from legal, regulatory, and compliance Skills • Ph.D. or equivalent experience in Medical Physics, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical/Nuclear Engineering, or related fields • A strong clinical and/or technical background in the field of PET/CT with a proven track record of scientific publications • Familiarity with one or more of the following areas of expertise: kinetic modeling; PET data acquisition/corrections; image reconstruction; artificial intelligence • Proven ability in driving research projects, clinical trials, and collaborative studies • Excellent communication and presentation skills • Professional proficiency in written and spoken English • Willing and able to travel up to 50% including short term international trips Benefits • Medical • Dental • Vision • Short- & long-term disability insurance • Employee assistance program • Company paid basic life insurance • 401(k) with employer match • Paid time off • Sick leave • (12) paid holidays Company Overview • At United Imaging, we develop and produce advanced medical products and IT solutions that cover the entire process of medical imaging diagnosis and treatment.
