[Remote] Permit Coordinator

The Permit Coordinator will secure necessary permits for telecom and utility projects while collaborating with various jurisdictions to ensure compliance and timely approvals. Responsibilities Permit kickoff meeting with jurisdictions Completing jurisdictional conformance checks Accountable for ensuring SLAs and schedules are met Own the permitting process on behalf of the customer(s) by ensuring all permits are identified, design vendors are coordinated, and all stakeholders informed of the status Identify and resolve conflicting permitting requirements when dealing with multiple jurisdictions Access various databases that provide engineering and facility assignment records Work with the permit team to resolve permit escalation and mitigations in a timely Skills Experience NEPA compliance (Required) Environmental permitting (federal and/or Texas and Indiana-level) (Required) Understanding of OSP Telecommunications terminology Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness, and look for ways to improve and promote quality Listens and gets clarification; responds well to questions; participates in meetings Follows policies and procedures, completes administrative tasks correctly and on time, and supports the organization's goals and values Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness, looks for ways to improve and promote quality, and monitors own work to ensure quality Meets permitting KPI standards High School Diploma or GED required 1+ years of college/ technical school or six months related experience and/or training Experience working with permitting agencies and experience with OSP telecom and/or utility builds Familiar with the process of acquiring encroachment, excavation, and traffic control permits Ability to travel up to 20% of the time, travel may be required by air or vehicle Must have a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record Able to drive to permitting agencies' locations daily Detail-oriented and able to maintain internal and customer tracking systems Experience with quality control of engineering prints and fiber designs is preferred Benefits Performance and referral bonuses Production incentives Tool/equipment and fuel stipends Company vehicle Per diem Health and life insurance 401k with employer match Paid time off Tuition reimbursement Professional development courses Flexible spending accounts HSA option Paid vacation Paid holidays Company Overview Pearce Services is a leading provider of repair, maintenance, engineering, installation and expansion solutions.
