Remote Payroll/Human Resource Associate

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Payroll/Human Resource Associate to join our team at Workwarp. As a key member of our HR team, you will be responsible for managing our semi-monthly payroll, maintaining accurate records, and providing exceptional support to our employees.
Key Responsibilities:

Process semi-monthly payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Maintain payroll records, including data entry and reconciliation
Respond to employee inquiries regarding wages, deductions, attendance, and time records
Coordinate leave requests, process employee changes, and adhere to payroll policies and procedures
Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies in timesheet and payroll records
Create, review, and track various spreadsheets and reports
Distribute wages through Fintwist pay cards, manual checks, or bank accounts
Collaborate with Field Support for corrections and meet payroll deadlines
Manage various employee relation issues and perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

2+ years of Human Resource and Payroll experience with 200+ employees
Experience working with Payroll Systems and strong knowledge of Federal and State Laws
Detail-oriented, organized, and proficient in Microsoft Office
Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask
