They are looking for a Payroll Specialist who will provide payroll and technical support to customers, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with internal teams to enhance customer experience. Responsibilities Provide prompt and thorough payroll and technical support to customers via phone, email, and messaging Troubleshoot issues and guide users through Wagepoint’s features and functionalities Collaborate with Product Support, Partner Support, and Payroll Advisors to resolve complex issues Manage and track interactions using CRM tools and dashboards, ensuring accuracy and timely follow-bolthires Keep our knowledge base up to date with FAQs, user guides, and troubleshooting tips Mentor and train new Payroll Team members Participate in special payroll-related projects as they arise Skills 6 months to 2 years of experience in payroll processing 1+ years in a customer success/support-facing role PCP Certification (Payroll Compliance Professional) Familiarity with Canadian payroll regulations, tax rules, and compliance requirements Experience with CRM systems and cloud-based tools (e.g., bolthires Suite) Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities A collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment You've supported customers in a SaaS environment You've trained or mentored team members in the past You've contributed to knowledge base content or internal documentation You love diving into systems and figuring things out Benefits Opportunities for professional development and career advancementThe ability to work from home, forever Company Overview Wagepoint is an online payroll app for small businesses across North America.It was founded in 2012, and is headquartered in Kitchener, Ontario, CAN, with a workforce of 51-200 employees.
