Remote Payroll Officer - Flexible Working Arrangements
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Payroll Officer to join our talented team at BookCheck, a leading provider of outsourced payroll services with a national reputation for quality and customer service. As a Payroll Officer, you will have the opportunity to work from the comfort of your own home, with flexible hours that suit your needs, and be part of a supportive team that values your ideas and contributions.
About the Role:
In this exciting and flexible role, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processes for a variety of clients, including payroll journals, importing/exporting csv files, holiday pay, statutory deductions, and auto-enrolment. You will also provide exceptional customer service, responding to payroll queries and building strong relationships with our client base. With a dedicated training and development program, you will have the opportunity to enhance your skills and progress within the company.
What We Offer:
Competitive salary: £20-40k, depending on experience, plus benefits
Flexible working hours: part-time in the first half of the month and full-time in the second half

Requirements:
At least 3 years of relevant experience in a bureau environment
Experience with Iris Payroll Professional software (desirable)
Strong payroll legislation knowledge and ability to establish good working relationships with clients
Proficient in Excel and able to work independently from home
Self-motivated, professional, and adaptable with good organisational and communication skills
Own PC and good broadband connection required
