We're seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Payment Poster for a contract position in our dynamic, fast-paced, and rapidly growing team. This is a REMOTE position that offers you the flexibility to work from home while contributing to the success of our organization. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the healthcare industry, with a particular focus on behavioral health, AR collections, Excel, claims, denials, Insurance, Revenue Cycle management, medical billing & coding, Commercial insurance, Denial Management, 3rd party insurance, insurance claims processing, patient payments, EOB, and AR Reconciliation. Responsibilities: As a Payment Poster, you will play a critical role in our Revenue Cycle Management team. Your primary responsibility will be to accurately post insurance and patient payments for our healthcare services. You will apply your expertise in commercial insurance, third-party insurance, and insurance claims processing to ensure that all payments are posted correctly and promptly. Your responsibilities will also include managing denials, ensuring appropriate follow-up, and working closely with our AR collections team to reconcile accounts. You will be expected to demonstrate proficiency in Excel and other relevant software to manage and analyze data effectively. In addition, you will leverage your knowledge of medical billing and coding to review and interpret EOBs, resolve any discrepancies, and ensure accurate billing. You will also play a crucial role in denial management, identifying trends, and recommending strategies to reduce denials and improve the revenue cycle. Qualifications: The ideal candidate for this position will have: • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the healthcare industry, with a significant focus on behavioral health, AR collections, Excel, claims, denials, Insurance, Revenue Cycle management, medical billing & coding, Commercial insurance, Denial Management, 3rd party insurance, insurance claims processing, patient payments, EOB, and AR Reconciliation. • A proven track record of successfully posting insurance and patient payments, managing denials, and reconciling accounts. • Strong proficiency in Excel and experience using other relevant software. • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret EOBs, identify trends in denials, and recommend strategies to improve the revenue cycle. • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a remote team. • A proactive approach, with the ability to take initiative and solve problems effectively. • A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
