Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for patients seeking medical assistance and support Build trust with patients and provide customized scripting to address their needs Accurately document patient information and needs prior to connecting them with a nurse Handle inbound calls with professionalism and courtesy Multi-task while speaking with patients, ensuring efficient and effective communication Escalate situations as necessary and defuse conversations with empathy and understanding Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines Essential Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree preferred 1+ years of customer service experience required Excellent organizational and computer skills, with the ability to multi-task Strong listening and comprehension skills to determine key patient information Professional, courteous telephone voice and demeanor Dependable, reliable, and trustworthy Ability to type a minimum of 25 wpm Preferred Qualifications 1-2 years of healthcare experience Inbound call center experience Call Center, Medical Office/Clinic, front desk, or first point of contact experience in a customer service environment Bilingual skills, particularly Spanish speaking and documentation in English HIPAA experience What We Offer At AccessNurse, we are committed to providing a supportive and enjoyable work environment that allows you to thrive.
