Remote Part-time Teacher - Math k-6

Job Summary We are seeking passionate and dedicated teachers to work with our elementary level students in math! These classes will cover all math topics under the elementary umbrella including fractions, basic math functions, place value, more complex equations, and others. These classes will take place once a week for 15 weeks with the ability to move up to the next session levels with the same students if a teacher chooses to do so. We provide all lessons to the teachers, so there will be minimal lesson planning involved!Who would be our ideal fit? • Someone who loves working with kids and can teach in a developmentally friendly manner. • Please apply do not apply if you intend to only teach for a few weeks. Our courses are built to last for 15 weeks with minimal interruptions. We expect kind, respectful, reliable, and high-quality candidates. • Required to pass a background check • Must read and answer texts and emails right away to ensure that students get quality feedback as well as respond if you are able to take a class that's offered.• The ideal candidate will understand the concept of time zone difference and work with it daily and comfortably. • Teaching certification is preferred. • We will confirm what hours you would be available for during the interview. Skills • Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques. • Proficiency in tutoring students in subjects such as math and literacy. • Ability to create a safe and supportive classroom environment for all students. • Competence in utilizing learning technology to enhance instruction.• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with students, parents, and staff. • Must have at least a completed bachelor's degree in elementary education, education, k-12 math, or another related degree field.
