[Remote] Oracle Sql Server Database Administrator
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. MatchPoint is seeking an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) with strong expertise in SQL Server and Oracle. This role will support an intensive project requiring hands-on technical skills across multiple database platforms, ensuring smooth operations and optimization of systems. Responsibilities • Support an intensive, short-term project requiring hands-on deep technical skills across multiple database platforms • Quickly assess the current environment • Manage a high volume of SQL Server databases • Contribute to smooth operations and optimization across all systems Skills • 7+ years of hands-on DBA experience with strong cross-platform skills • Expert-level proficiency in SQL Server administration, optimization, and troubleshooting • Strong experience managing Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL databases • Solid understanding of database architecture, replication, clustering, and backup/recovery strategies • Experience with high-availability configurations, performance tuning, and query optimization • Ability to manage large workloads efficiently under tight timelines • Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills • Experience with cloud-hosted databases (Azure, AWS, or GCP) • Certifications such as: Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate • Oracle Database Administrator Certified Professional • MySQL/PostgreSQL certifications Company Overview • Born in Silicon Valley, 2006.
