Job Summary:
We're looking for a seasoned professional to assist in developing an operational methodology that enhances the reliability of our services and improves the overall experience for our participants. As an Operations Reliability Lead, you will work closely with game platform partners and game studios to set standards for reliability, incident management, and prevention. Your primary responsibility will be to establish a reliability methodology, execute it, and continually improve it, resulting in a robust infrastructure for our gamers and developers.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop strategic guidelines and operation systems to serve the growing service reliability needs for games on Netflix
Manage and enhance our incident management program and develop KPIs for effective prioritization of work
Deliver high-quality service by establishing world-class continuous improvement processes to identify and address operational issues
Collaborate and support partners, including engineering, technical product management, and customer service, by understanding their workflows and needs
Influence peers to adopt industry-leading reliability models and practices
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization
Requirements:
6+ years of experience managing the reliability of games, technology, and publishing services
Experience with live game service operations, including supporting games that operated a live service model with build and content updates
Proven ability to build strong partnerships across teams and disciplines, including platform engineering, technical product, operations, game development, and customer service
Experience driving large-scale methods and plan execution to support a scaling business
Ability to manage ambiguity and use instincts, experience, and team to identify, assess, and solve problems quickly and effectively
Project management and organization skills, with clear, concise, and specific communication
Availability to work core hours (9am-4pm PST) for meetings and collaboration
