Remote Non-QM Underwriter/Team Lead
STRONG Non-QM Underwriter needed
Candidate must reside in CST or EST time zone and work in EST zone...
Responsible for issuance of all loan approvals and declinations in compliance with RESPA and ECOA measures
Conditions loans in accordance with program and federal requirements
Works with the processors and Loan Advisors to ensure all conditions are cleared
Responsible for pipeline management to adhere to turn times and compliance requirements
Coordinates resolution of any auditing deficiencies with Quality Assurance and Management
Qualifications
Minimum:
3 years experience and in-depth knowledge of mortgage lending, credit underwriting and collateral review
Must have experience working with Non-QM, Fix-Flip and Bridge Construction loans
Private lending experience preferred
Working knowledge Non-QM guidelines, as well as Federal and State compliance requirements
Experience with manual underwriting
Maintains professionalism in providing excellent service to our clients
Able to problem-solve and suggest alternate scenarios for the best overall client experience
Ability to manage pipeline daily while meeting monthly production and quality goals
Strong written and verbal communication skills preferred
Strong Fraud Detection
Salary: 90k
