[Remote] NJ Litigation Associate Attorney

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Rubin & Rothman, LLC is a Suffolk County plaintiff creditor's rights law firm seeking a litigation associate based in New Jersey. The attorney will actively litigate cases, attend court appearances, manage a caseload, and develop litigation strategies to lead matters to resolution. Responsibilities Daily court appearances both in-person and virtual for conferences, motions and other matters on the courts’ calendars Responsible for managing a caseload and assignments of litigated and non-litigated claims Develop and implement litigation strategy, review and approve pleadings, discovery, motion practice, settlement agreements and other hands-on drafting related to the firm’s practice Work directly with firm senior management and firm clients to lead matters to positive resolution Partner with firm paralegal and support staff in producing and responding to legal demands Skills J.D. from an ABA accredited law school Admitted to and in good standing with NJ bar Self-directed professional with attention to detail and ability to manage workload and prioritize appropriately This position requires regular travel Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to establish trusted partnerships with internal and external clients Ability to work as a team player and with collaborative assignments Ability to maintain confidential information and acceptable standards of office and professional conduct Bar (Required) Previous litigation or creditor's rights experience is preferred but not required Additional bar admissions a plus Willingness to travel: 25% (Preferred) Benefits 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee assistance program Employee discount Flexible spending account Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Company Overview Rubin & Rothman, LLC is a leading regional creditors law firm.
