We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Development Engineer to join our team. As a Control Frameworks Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing control systems that meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our fulfillment center operations, and you will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of technologies, including PLC/PC controllers, industrial networks, and electrical distribution systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Direct and plan work activities for Control Systems Specialists/Leads to achieve objectives and goals of North America Customer Satisfaction teams
Collaborate with building Operations, Projects Engineering, FC Start-up Team, Rearward Software teams, Pros team, and Security to support MHE systems enhancement and project execution
Understand, maintain, and troubleshoot material handling control systems, including PLC/PC controllers and industrial networks
Monitor MHE metrics and collaborate with maintenance/operations to resolve system performance issues and provide analysis across all operations
Act as first-level escalation support for Control Systems Specialists/Leads, troubleshooting and resolving hardware or controls software systems issues
Mentor Control System Experts (CST) and Control System Leads (CSL) within your assigned manufacturing facility
Participate in Failure Analysis and Incident Review processes and implement process improvements or retraining to prevent future incidents
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or 2+ years of Amazon Blue Badge/FTE experience
Ability to work flexible schedules/shifts/locations, including weekends, evenings, or holidays
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with electrical theory, mechanical components, controls components, and digital equipment
Experience identifying, maintaining, troubleshooting, programming, and designing HMI and control network components
Experience with industrial electrical systems, including 480V 3-phase, 110 VAC, and 24VDC systems
Excellent written, verbal, and customer service skills
