[Remote] Motion Designer (2D/3D Animator)

Comstock Companies is seeking a Motion Designer / 2Dβ3D Animator to create high-impact animated content for large-format display systems. The role involves producing visually compelling motion graphics optimized for various playback systems while collaborating with technical teams. Responsibilities β’ Creating animated visual content for large format displays such as LED walls, projection systems, video walls and similar β’ Developing and executing 2D animations based on concepts and storyboards β’ Producing high level animation in After Effects including motion graphics, transitions, and timing synchronization β’ Collaborating with the technical team to ensure animations are adapted to screen specifications such as resolution, aspect ratio and codec β’ Exporting video content in appropriate formats and optimizing assets β’ Flexibility to produce and adjust animations in real time to accommodate evolving content needs and last-minute requirements Skills β’ Professional knowledge of After Effects and adobe suite with hands-on experience β’ Strong ability to design and execute animations with a clear sense of composition, timing, synchronization, and visual flow β’ Experience working with multi-resolution displays or willingness to learn quickly β’ Portfolio in the form of animated videos, 3D renders, or a showreel β’ Familiar with both Windows and Mac operating systems β’ Available to work remotely outside normal business hours β’ Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn and grow β’ Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills β’ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively in a team environment β’ Knowledge of 3D software such as Cinema 4D, Blender, Maya, or similar β’ Experience working with Redshift or other GPU-based renderers β’ Familiarity with TouchDesigner or Notch for real-time generative content β’ Experience creating content for screenings or art installations β’ Experience with multimedia shows, live events, or theatrical productions Company Overview β’ Comstock is a real estate company that provides management services to lenders, owners and municipalities with interests in real estate.
