[Remote] Microsoft SQL Developer - US Citizen and W2 only

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Delta System & Software, Inc. is seeking a Microsoft SQL Developer for a 3-month contract position. The role involves analyzing existing reports, designing SQL Server data models, developing ETL pipelines, and optimizing SQL queries to support Power BI reporting. Responsibilities • Looking for 5+ Years of experienced candidate in Sql Server Development. • Candidate should have ability to analyze existing SSRS reports, underlying SQL Server queries, stored procedures, and data structures to document logic, dependencies, and required transformations. • Candidate should have ability to Design and build performant SQL Server data models (dimensional/star schema or optimized relational models) to support Power BI reporting. • Candidate should have ability to Develop and maintain on-prem ETL/ELT pipelines using tools such as SSIS, SQL Agent Jobs, or custom scripts to prepare and load data for reporting. • Candidate should have ability to Optimize SQL queries, indexing strategies, and stored procedures to ensure reporting datasets meet Power BI performance requirements. • Candidate should have ability to Implement data quality checks, validation processes, and reconciliation routines to ensure migrated Power BI reports match legacy SSRS output. • Candidate should have ability to Work closely with report developers and business stakeholders to support integration, testing, troubleshooting, and deployment of data assets into on-prem or hybrid Power BI environments.
