Mercury Insurance is seeking graduates for their Mercury Ignite Graduate Program in Data Science, which offers a structured 12-month journey with hands-on experience and rotations through key data science verticals. The program aims to build foundational skills in advanced analytics, statistical methods, and machine learning, while collaborating with teams to drive business insights and solutions. Responsibilities Complete a structured rotation through different areas of Data Science, building a solid foundation in advanced analytical techniques, statistical methods, and machine learning algorithms Go beyond analysis; identify relevant data sources, perform feature engineering, and collaborate with engineering teams to implement models into production Create and maintain monitoring procedures for model performance and proactively look for ways to improve accuracy Partner with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Business Intelligence, and IT teams to translate complex data insights into clear, actionable business strategies Design automated dashboards and reports (using Python, SQL, or BI tools) to communicate results to stakeholders Skills Be legally eligible to work in the U.S Recently completed a bachelor's or both bachelor's and master's degree in a quantitative or Information Technology field (computer science, Data science, etc.) Able to provide a cumulative GPA, as reported by your school.
