What You'll Be Doing

As a Member Services Advocate at arenaflex, you'll play a starring role in our efforts to provide accurate and responsive service to our valued members. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy variety, problem-solving, and making a meaningful impact through excellent communication skills. Your daily responsibilities will include:


Working directly with arenaflex Members in a fast-paced inbound contact center environment, providing each member with an outstanding and personalized experience
Building trust and creating sustainable relationships through open, interactive, and empathetic communication
Applying strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to research and communicate solutions in a variety of situations
Effectively handling member concerns by utilizing available resources to provide accurate information and ensure empathetic resolution
Maintaining detailed records of all interactions and policy changes in our system
Confidentially handling policy owner information while ensuring compliance with communication standards and regulatory requirements
Collaborating with internal teams to ensure thorough and timely resolutions for all members
Putting people first and keeping their experience simple by being transparent – a value our members appreciate as much as we do


What We're Looking For

We seek candidates who are committed to excellence in customer service and who understand the importance of creating positive interactions. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and characteristics:

Required Experience and Qualifications


Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service position where there is a high value placed on the customer/member experience
Previous insurance or call center experience is strongly preferred
Demonstrated basic mathematical aptitude (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
Technical aptitude with experience navigating and operating multiple computer applications and telephone technologies
High School Diploma required; some college level coursework preferred
Basic understanding and knowledge of life insurance company operations, policies, and procedures
Knowledge of various insurance products is preferred
Completion of insurance industry or LOMA coursework is a plus
Must possess a reliable internet connection with a minimum speed of 25MB download and 5MB upload
Must be able to support VPN connectivity for remote work requirements
