Job Overview:
We're looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Medical Transcriptionist to transcribe medical reports, summaries, and other documents from recorded messages. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in radiology transcription, proficiency in using foot pedal transcription equipment, and excellent computer skills. Key Responsibilities:
Transcribe medical reports, summaries, and other medical documents from recorded messages with high accuracy and attention to detail
Review and edit drafts to ensure accuracy of medical terminology and adherence to report format
Utilize foot pedal and macro system efficiently to maximize productivity
Coordinate with medical staff to clarify any unclear or vague information
Maintain confidentiality of all transcription reports and patient records
Requirements:
Availability to work from Saturday to Wednesday, with flexibility to work weekends as needed
Minimum 5 years of experience as a medical transcriptionist focused on radiology
Proficiency in using foot pedal transcription equipment and computer
Good typing speed with exceptional accuracy
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and treatments
Proficient computer skills with access to a reliable computer and high-quality headset
Detail-oriented with a strong ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines
