As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care by providing timely and accurate transcription services. Key Responsibilities: Listen to recorded dictation of physicians and other healthcare professionals and transcribe audio files with precision Edit and correct medical dictation performed by speech recognition software to ensure accuracy Format transcription reports and convert transcribed diagnostic test results, procedures, and consultation notes into applicable report formats Ensure uncompromised patient care by transcribing quickly and accurately, as well as performing thorough editing Identify and follow up on inconsistencies, errors, and missing information within transcribed reports Submit transcriptions to healthcare professionals for approval in a timely manner and perform additional tasks as needed Protect patient confidentiality and adhere to legal requirements, maintaining professionalism at all times Requirements: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail and organizational abilities Proficiency in Electronic Health Record systems and ability to transcribe accurately with a minimum typing speed of 65 words per minute In-depth knowledge of medical terminology and jargon, as well as editing practice Ability to function in a fast-paced work environment with expectations for fast and responsive answers/solutions/actions Must maintain training/continuing education requirements and adhere to company policies and procedures and safety guidelines Apply Now to join our team of healthcare professionals and take the first step towards a rewarding career as a Remote Medical Transcriptionist!
