Responsibilities: The Medical Scribe is a non-licensed member of the healthcare team whose primary responsibility is accurately documenting a provider-patient encounter in real-time. This includes the history of present illness, past medical/surgical/family and social histories, review of systems, physical exam, procedures, lab and imaging results, clinical course of the patient, diagnoses, disposition, and any other information pertinent to the encounter. Secondary to charting, the medical scribe serves as a workflow navigator, assisting the healthcare provider with workflow management and coordination of ancillary services. This is a non-patient care role. Requirements: • You must reside in one of the following states for work from home: • Florida • Georgia • Illinois • Missouri • Nevada • Tennessee • Texas • Previous dedicated medical scribe (either in-person or remote) experience required. Other Information: We are seeking to fill the equivalent of one part time position that is available to cover the following shifts on CENTRAL TIME: - 6am to 4pm - 8am to 6pm - 2pm to 12am - 4pm to 2am - 10pm to 6am Part time will be scheduled for 20-30 hours per week (two to three 10 hour shifts per week). • **Applications without previous dedicated scribe experience will be automatically rejected.*** We are NOT accepting applications from: • Medical assistants who have assisted with documentation, even if scribe was in the title • Ophthalmology scribes • Medical students or healthcare practitioners without dedicated scribe experience • Applicants who do not reside in one of the states listed above Apply tot his job
