About the Role As a Remote Medical Live Scribe, you'll play a critical role in transcribing medical information during live doctor's appointments or recorded audios sent by US-based healthcare providers. Your expertise will enable healthcare professionals to focus on delivering exceptional patient care while you handle the documentation. Key Responsibilities Live Scribing: Transcribe medical information in real-time during live patient/provider consultations, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. Clinical/Provider Support: Provide administrative support to healthcare providers, including audit preparation, template management, and sending prescription refills, labs, and imaging. Coding Support: Assist with coding tasks to ensure compliance with US healthcare regulations and terminologies. Patient Health Education: Engage with patients and provide education on their health and treatment plans. Transcription: Transcribe recorded audios sent by US-based healthcare providers, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines. Essential Qualifications Medical Knowledge and Experience: At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Live Scribe or Medical Transcriptionist, with a strong understanding of US healthcare terminology, procedures, and diagnoses. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to accurately capture and transcribe real-time medical information.
