Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Remote Medical Benefits Specialist to join our Fortune 500 Pharmaceutical Client's healthcare team. As a Remote Medical Benefits Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring patients receive the care they need by processing prior authorization requests, verifying insurance coverage, and collaborating with healthcare providers and insurance companies.
Key Responsibilities:
Submit and track prior authorization requests via inbound and outbound calls
Verify patients' medical insurance eligibility and coverage
Communicate with providers and insurers regarding patients to ensure compliance
Maintain accurate records of approvals and denials
What We Offer:
Competitive hourly rate of $17/hour
Full-time position with weekly pay and benefits
Flexible schedule: 8am-8pm CST, Monday-Friday (8-hour shift between these hours)
Equipment provided (must be able to pick up equipment in Irving, TX)
Opportunity to work with a Fortune 500 Pharmaceutical Client
Requirements:
At least 1 year of medical benefits experience (no exceptions)
Ability to pick up equipment in Irving, TX
Call center experience preferred but not required
Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance policies
Experience in healthcare or insurance is preferred
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent communication abilities
