Remote Medicaid Biller

We are looking to hire an experienced Medicaid Biller! The Revenue Cycle team is dedicated to ensuring everything goes right for the patient. This group is looking for a team member with a strong ability to work independently, has a positive outlook, and is willing to actively contribute to the Team. This position represents the Revenue Cycle department of Columbia County Health System as a resource for the patients, the team, and the organization. Compensation and Benefits:Compensation: $20.00 - $30.00 per hourFull-Time, 40 hours per weekOperating hours are Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm Pacific Standard TimeFull-Time Benefits include: Medical/Dental/Vision & Basic Life Insurance; eligibility to participate in a 401K Plan, as well as PTO and Sick Time AccrualFully remote and must reside in any of the following states: Alaska, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Kansas, North Dakota, New Mexico, Oregon, Texas, Vermont, Washington, or WyomingIn this position, you will have knowledge in Revenue Cycle duties and workflows specific to Medicaid Billing, as well as industry standards, regulations and laws. You will be responsible for reconciling patient balances, utilize billing processes and practices to maximize reimbursement for services, work accounts receivable aging and claim follow-up, review reports to identify potential problems, process appeals and reconsideration of claims, and assist patients in resolving billing issues. A great candidate will need to understand insurance language, industry standards, regulations, and laws while being able to convey this information in a clear manner. This requires a strong attention to detail and developed interpersonal skills. We are looking for an individual with at least 1-year of healthcare billing experience, who has worked with a wide variety of insurance portals, and have knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT codes.
